Our Sabra Cushions are made from refashioned vintage Moroccan Cactus Silk rugs and handwoven into pillows. They are contemporary and durable, and designed for everyday living.

Each Sabra cushion is unique, and patterns differ from one cushion to another. Sabra is an organic fiber silk made from the agave cactus plant and spun with wool or camel hair. Each Sabra cushion is one of a kind. A quality zipper has been installed into each one professionally to allow for easy stuffing.

When will my item ship?

I aim to ship all items within 48 hours of receiving your order.

When will I receive my shipment?

If you’re in Canada you should receive your shipment approximately 4-7 days from the time you’re notified the item has shipped.

For US orders, you should receive your shipment approximately 5-8 days from the time you’re notified the item has shipped. Please check the USPS website for the most up to date information using the tracking number from your order.

Are the Indian Kantha Quilts all one material?

No, Indian Kantha Quilts are one of a kind items roughly the size of a twin bed and made out of multiple different pieces of vintage sari fabric.

This means that they are a type of large patchwork, rather than one solid material on each side. Because of this, you will see some striking colour and pattern combos that are unexpected and beautiful - it’s all a part of their history and charm! They are truly one of a kind heritage pieces and also very durable.

Care instructions

Pillows:
Dry clean only. For Sabra Silk pillows avoid contact with water.

Rugs:
Vacuum as needed. We support the use of professional rug cleaners to promote the long term health of your rug.

Rugs - for a spill: Continue to pour room temperature or cool water through the rug, catching it underneath in a Tupperware until the spill has been removed.

Rugs - For a drip/small stain: Blot with a clean, wet cloth. Avoid scrubbing or the use of chemicals.

Are there shipping delays due to Covid-19?

My shipping timelines have not changed, and Canadian orders are now arriving within 1-2 days of standard shipping timelines.

Some US customers are seeing a delay of a few days to a few weeks, due to a compounded issue of COVID-19 and recent changes made to the US Postal system. USPS is the best source of information using your tracking number.

My package hasn’t arrived - is it lost?

I have yet to lose a package in 1200 orders! There are delays for US customers with fewer planes crossing the border due to Covid-19, and slower than normal processing times with our postal partners. This may mean extra days or weeks of waiting time for some.

What you can do:
1. Know that I appreciate your patience! :)
2. View your most up to date tracking information on the Canada Post (Canadian customers) or USPS (US customers) websites.
3. For significant delays of 4+ weeks with no recent movement on the tracking system, contact USPS or Canada Post to open a ticket to locate/investigate your shipment.

How do I initiate a return?

My package is significantly delayed, can I get a refund?

When a parcel is in transit I’m not able to honour a cancellation. Unfortunately I can’t stop a parcel from being delivered once it’s on its way, and I’m a small shop. Losing a rug or pillow cover is a significant loss for my business.

However...I do understand that you may need to move on with your life when an item you’ve ordered is significantly delayed. I will absolutely honour a return and refund once the item has been delivered.

Please send me a shop message and we can coordinate - and I’ll send you something in writing confirming I will honour a late return. Above all else, thank you for your patience!
